A Strong Promise

Here is your opportunity to support an organization whose sole mission is to ensure older adults, from all walks of life and all faiths, have secure havens in which they can live the rest of their lives.

Sunset Retirement Communities is a not-for-profit, board-managed organization not affiliated with any business or religious organization. That means our funding only comes from three sources: resident fees including third party reimbursement, earned income from our endowment fund, and charitable gifts from corporations, foundations, and individuals.

We make a solemn pledge to our residents: "Once you're accepted into the Sunset community, you will never be asked to leave because you've legitimately outlived your resources." It's a strong promise to make, but one we make whole-heartedly through our Life Care Fund. And we've never gone back on our word. So you can see why your support is so important to our mission.

To continue and enhance our mission, we accept donations from individuals, groups, and organizations who have an interest in seeing us continue our service to the community. Besides outright cash gifts, there are other ways to give to Sunset Retirement Communities. Gifts can be in the form of stocks, bonds, or gifts of property such as land, houses, or collections.

In addition to donations, Sunset Retirement Communities hosts numerous fund raising events throughout the year.
